Archiving Policy

Jurnal Ilmiah Teknologi Informasi dan Robotika (JIFTI) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of its published scholarly content.

PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN)

JIFTI participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), a distributed digital preservation service provided by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP).

Through the PKP PN, eligible journal content is deposited and preserved using LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) technology. This distributed preservation mechanism maintains multiple copies of published content across participating preservation nodes to support long-term availability and recovery in the event of data loss, server failure, or other disruptions.

Journal issues are deposited to the PKP Preservation Network through the PKP PN plugin integrated with the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform. Deposit and preservation processing may occur progressively after publication, and the preservation status of recently published issues may therefore remain pending until the deposit process has been completed.

Journal Archive

Published articles, issues, bibliographic metadata, and associated publication files are maintained within the JIFTI Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform and remain accessible through the journal's Archives section.

The editorial management of JIFTI also maintains the journal's publication records and digital files as part of its internal management and preservation procedures.

Continuity of Access

In the event of changes to the journal platform, server infrastructure, website address, or publishing system, reasonable efforts will be made to preserve and migrate previously published articles, metadata, and related publication records to maintain continued scholarly access.

Corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other post-publication notices do not result in the deletion of the scholarly record. The original publication record will be retained together with an appropriate notice indicating its current publication status.
